What is colon hydrotherapy?

Colon hydrotherapy (CHT) also referred to as colon irrigation, colonic, colon therapy or high enemas. Regardless of the term, they all refer to the gentle use of water for internal cleansing of the colon (large intestine), in this procedure. Warm, filtered water is infused into the rectum via precisely calibrated equipment. With colon hydrotherapy, the colon is cleansed, hydrated, soothed, and tonified. It may be the most complete method to detoxify the whole body when used in conjunction with proper diet, exercise, fluids, and lifestyle. It is safe, gentle, sanitary, and odorless.

How to Prepare for a Session:

The day BEFORE your colon hydrotherapy session:
Please eat lightv
Drink plenty of water (min 64oz)
Avoid meat, dairy, bread and pasta
Suggest: Salads, Fruit and Vegetables
Some people do a castor oil pack over the abdominal area before and after sessions.

The day of your colon hydrotherapy session:

Same as above, but avoid eating 2 hours prior session unless you are diabetic.  If you are diabetic, please eat light up to 30 minutes prior to your session, and bring food with you for after the session. Please drink plenty of water the day before your session but avoid any liquids 1 hour before your session.

What to do AFTER a colon hydrotherapy session:

Most people leave the session feeling better than when they came in and go back to work or resume their normal activities. They often claim they feel much lighter and experience "increased energy and well-being". However, some people who are highly toxic may experience a “healing crisis” after the session such as achy flu like symptoms. Some of which may find relief by taking additional vitamin C, saunas, sea salt baths and drinking plenty of fluids as well as vegetable juices.

Your colon is an important part of your body.

With Colon cancer being the #2 cause of death in the US and 100,000 people having their colon removed annually, it is nothing to be hush-hush about. The colon or large intestine is a tube-like muscular organ that eliminates fecal material through wave-like motions known as peristalsis. It is approximately 5 ½ feet long and 2 inches in diameter and is a vital part of your digestive system.

Is Colon Hydrotherapy a good way to prepare for a Colonoscopy?

Colon Hydrotherapy is an excellent way to prepare for a colonoscopy and we have helped many people prepare for them comfortably! Colon Hydrotherapy is far more pleasant, dignified and thorough than using the fleet enemas.

With Colon Cancer being the #2 cause of death in the U.S., we are very supportive of people undergoing a colonoscopy. Most people dread them because of the scope, and the anesthesia and the infamous “ready go lightly” drink.
